Diabetes is the leading cause of kidney disease, blindness, and amputation, yet nearly 25% of people who have it don't even know it.
Nearly 24 million children and adults in the United States, have diabetes.
Check out the American Diabetes Association's website to learn more about diabetes and take a risk assessment test.
If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, you should have annual eye exams. We can do those exams at Yeager Family Practice. Don't forget to ask your doctor about getting an eye exam at your next quarterly appointment.
